About the Conference
FAHIIUCIC 2026
Reimagining Language, Literature, Culture, and Human Futures
FAHIIUCIC 2026 is the 2nd International Conference of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, convened by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) of International Islamic University Chittagong in association with the Center for Research & Publication (CRP). It is held on 26–27 November 2026 at IIUC Campus, Kumira, Sitakunda, Chittagong, with a hybrid mode for International Presenters.
The theme, HUMANITIES 5.0, asks what becomes of the humanities in an age of generative technologies. Artificial intelligence, digital cultures, globalization, climate change and shifting identities have created both unprecedented opportunities and profound challenges for the disciplines that study human meaning.
The conference invites critical, interdisciplinary and context-sensitive perspectives on how the humanities can respond to these transformations while preserving human values, cultural diversity, ethical responsibility, intellectual freedom and social justice. It is open to scholars, researchers, educators and postgraduate students.
